ENGINE OILS : |

| The
use of PETROVIS polybutenes in two-stroke
engine oils has become an increasingly important
application in countries with a large motorcycle
population like India, Thailand and Taiwan.
Concern about pollution in these countries
has resulted in legislation to control smoke
emissions and PETROVIS polybutenes are a major
constituent of smokeless 2T oils. PETROVIS
polybutenes are now an integral component
of two-stroke oils formulated to meet JASO
and global performance specifications. |

block for additives for lubricants.
In addition, PETROVIS polybutenes
are ideal for use in rolling, drawing and
cutting oils for metal work. They are also

blends of mineral oils and resins in jellies
for telecom cables. PETROVIS

polybutenes are used as tackifiers of polyethylene
in the production of polybutene/polyethylene
master batches or compounds for subsequent
conversion to film. They may also be added
during film extrusion. |

areas which include adhesives, (glues, hot
melt adhesives, pressure sensitive tapes),
mould release agents for polymers, extenders
